What are the best website building softwares to use?

If I'm building a website using code-only my first choice is always Codiad. As for graphical ones I don't know

For graphical based programmes, Adobe Muse is pretty good. Although that would mean you would either have to subscribe to the individual application or subscribe to the entire Adobe CC model altogether.

I use... Notepad++ (if I'm running the site locally) or Adobe Dreamweaver if I'm working remotely

Notepad++ in my opinion, just switched to this, I used to use Dreamweaver but I find Notepad++ more comfortable.

If you don't want to code then you can use Adobe Muse CC.

If you dont want to deal with hosting, Squarespace is brilliant, used it for my mums website.

If hosting does not bother you, then building it your self, you can really put your personal style to it, Dreamweaver is good just for live view, but dont actually use it to 'Draw' your site, N++ is brilliant little app.

If your a student you can get Jetbrains Webstorm for free, that's also rather decent.

No lol my mum needed something simple so she could update menus easily, and I couldn't be arsed supporting her when she broke everything, which is almost every day, so GUI option from Squarespace fitted her perfectly
