I want to use the G10 because it will fit perfectly with my future planned colour scheme

just remember to mix the thermal adhesive with 1:1 part of normal thermal paste so that you can remove the heatsinks later on without too much trouble.

Why ?

If you use the provided thermal paste ( not thermal glue ) then they fall off all by themselves.

 

 

I'm happy to get the heatsink and G10 just to make it fit my build.

You could paint the HG10 if that's your kind of thing

I don't want to spray paint it I like the look of it, If you've seen MEC-777's build It looks amazing

I don't like the fact it doesn't have a backplate, the G10 didn't look all that good in my build.

I personally found a backplate to look a lot better than the G10 as with the G10 you see the PCB.
