USB Type C vs 2.0 for Windows installs

will usb 2.0 go extinct once type c will be more available in motherboards in Thumb drive form , or we'll have to get adapters to be able to do a Windows install from the old 2.0 drives ?

Type C is a connector type. I think you mean USB 3.1.

USB 2.0 is still awesome because it requires no drivers
