How do you organise your power cables?

comicsansms

I personally use:

Back Power board = essentials

Black Cable - DO NOT UNPLUG, like for my desktop or hdd's

Grey / Beige  - Monitors in order, left = left monitor middle = middle & right = right.

Front Power Board = Nonessential

Examples such as clocks and phone charger.

Follow the wire back, or just randomly unplug things until the thing I want turns off

I rarely ever unplug anything, I have like 4 of them labelled up for my server and my PC, but other than that, nothing is labelled or organised

I've just memorised where they all are, if anything new needs to be added I do have some free sockets at the other end of my desk.

My cables have different ends. The big one is for my tower, the thin one with the thick cable is for my now dead monitor, and the small one with thin cable is for my speaker. Anything else will be my chargers, which  are  obviously different

Cable clips, velcro straps, a cable box, and a cable organiser kit that I bought on impulse at the hardware store.

I was thinking I should get myself a bunch of those labels to put on my cables to say "Monitor C" "Monitor L" "Monitor R" "Computer" "Router" and so on...
