It all depends on the card you get. Some do really well, others can barely overclock at all. You gamble with these things.

Also, as far as how well the 770 reference card overclocks in general? It's a decent overclocker for the price point, but 780 is mammoth compared to it, if you can find the budget. For the price point, it's good though.

Every card is different but in general, The GTX 770 it isn't a bad overclocker by any stretch of the imagination.
