Got a different router in the mail. should I keep it?

JewishBacon

So about a week ago I won a **NEW** TP link AC Router on ebay

http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Archer-C7-Wireless-1300Mbps/dp/B00BUSDVBQ

But when I opened my  mail today I got a Linksys EA6500 router.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=linksys+ac+6500

I'm not sure if I should ask to return it.  Its clearly not new, as there was no shrink wrap on the slightly beat up box (I assume from shipping), and the power cable isnt twist tied together.

Is this Linksys router any better/worse?

Should I return it?

What are your thoughts?

The TP-Link is better for sure, but you should return the router anyway.

Maybe it's just because I'm a little biased for TP-Link. But I would return the router, you did not get what you were suppose to get. Goods not as described.

We have a TP link N  router in my house, that baby is about as reliable as the sunrise! I can totally see your bias.
