HDD not being read properly

Yesterday I upgraded the motherboard and CPU on my computer and for some reason when I go into control panel and look at Programs, it does not show the program's on the HDD, only the SSD, anyone know why this is?

Go to computer. Right click and chose "Manage". In Manage, click on disk manager. In here you should be able to format the disk and assign it a drive letter

omg has no one answered this yet oh wait someone has, you have to format the drive not to mention you didn't tell us anything about your pc or what version of windows your running. Or if youre even running windows.

I'm pretty sure he would like to keep the data so lets look for some other options before we tell him to format the drive.

But yes your right we need more info.
