75hz 1280x720

so i put my monitor to 1280x720 75hz, but when i go in game its in 1080p, do i just need to set it at 1280x720 and it will go to 75hz? its in cs:go btw.

If you're on NVIDIA you can make a custom resolution profile (resolution, hz, timings etc), which you can probably select in CS:GO

yeah thats what i did but  i dno what im supposed to change in the cs profile in the control panel.

Well you should first get an FPS counter, if that says 75 (with V-Sync on, if that's off you'll get much more) then your panel is running 75hz... Most people turn off V-Sync though!

thanks for the info bud :P il check that out, i mean i think it changes automatically on cs when i change the res as cs felt smoother when i did it, it made me a lot more responsive, i cant wait to get a 144hz.
