4 to 24 is pretty drastic.

That right there cracked me up. I also agree with that. 24 GB is a bit too much considering the rest of your system. 12 GB should do just fine. or even 8 GB.

4 was the sweetspot for 2010-11 before that 2 was fine 2012-13 is 8 gigs for gaming. I personally have 16 gigs of ram in my workstation that I do heavy video editing/rendering on and the main bottleneck is the gt 640 even with overclocking in maya. But hey if you got the money now then why wait for when you need to update your ram yet have no money

4GB of RAM is overkill for an average PC, and enough for a gaming PC. Most people use 8GB of RAM to overkill since RAM is so cheap.

So your RAM is a'OK. Your PC can run anything, you only need to upgrade your GPU and PSU. Your PSU is fine as well, but by getting something like an 850W PSU, you can run 2x 7950's. Your PC will still run the cards without a CPU bottleneck.

So as a conclusion, your PC is fine, Just upgrade your graphics and add another 2 Gigs of RAM if you really need more RAM.

I think your ram will increase a big more if you disabled Pagefile which I would have done with that amount of RAM
