Overall a nice build, but I would definitly take an i5-4690k + a Z97 board.

The 9590 is pretty useless at that price point.

Here, better performance at a lower price point. HF :)

Don't get a 9590 it's just an overclocked 8350 which is cheaper so if you insist on going AMD then you should be getting that all though you really should be getting an I5 at that price point.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

The problem is that the 9590 runs hotter than the sun at idle and performs not that great. An i5 can already outperform it.

You won't have any problems with the USB expansion card. You can either plug it in above the graphics card or below it into the x16 PCI-E slot.

I looked at the mobo and it said that there is no sli support. What I I wanted to add another graphics card at some point in the future? And I am leaning towards the i5, so I could upgrade to the i7 since it is the same board

I don't see the point in adding another 980 TI for that setup, but okay. Your money, your choice.

Then I would go for one of the following boards:

  • MSI Z97S SLI Krait
  • Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3
  • Asus Z97-Pro Gamer
