So you have a video card? Why not plug it into there?

Just plug it in. ;)

Make sure the onboard video is enabled in the BIOS and you should be good to go.

Find another video port, plug it in.  No special procedures needed.  To adjust what is displayed on it (duplicate first display, extend desktop, etc.) hit Windows key + P or right click on your desktop and hit Screen Resolution.

It won't really affect your fps.

If you spend a bit more, you can get the Boost version. Here's ASUS version of the Boost. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121728

And here's the regular version from ASUS. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121686

my current GPU is a EVGA GT 640 2gb, but ill will be upgrading to Asus GTX 650 ti 1gb

Get the 7770 or 7850 instead for much better performance unless you need the cuda cores.

To enable running your second display off your motherboard, go to your bios and enable IGD Multi monitor.
