Its just plugging in my mic to the usb. I dont even have to have the audio jack plugged in

That's EMI then. Only real suggestion to give is to either get a sound card, or plug the USB headset onto a USB header on the rear I/O. Sound cards aren't that expensive anyway. You can get a 105+dba SNR sound card under $30.

I have used both headers. The back ones seem quieter but the sound is still there. And Are there sound cards that i would plug my headset usb into?

No. They use either digital connections(optical most likely)or analog connections. If you're only using the USB port for power, then that'll work just fine.

That's most likely because your headset is strictly using USB as power. With it not in, the headset is getting no power - which means no EMI is emitted. Only option is...get a new headset. Or get regular headphones with a dedicated mic.

Any recommendations on any new headsets. I currently am using the Razer Carcharias. I would like it to be straight black or black and green to match my set up

How are Steelseries headsets. Ive never owned one. Are they comfortable? I was really considering buying either steel series or the Razer Kraken pro

I know its kind of  dumb. But I think im going to shoot for the kraken. I mean im sure steelseries are awsome but i really dont like the way they look. I'm really the kind of person who wants their peripherals to have a little spark
