BEST Skyrim Graphics Mods

Ok so i recently got into the whole x.nexus thing to get NMC textures for fallout new vegas and then i saw the Skyrim nexus and hoooly sh*t theres a lot of mods.

Which ones do you guys recommend? I want mods that only change textures ( into higher res ones ), or just mods that make the game look nicer, not any combat mods or house mods!

Important specs: 4770k @ 4.2GHz, gtx 680 and 16GB of ram

PS: If you post a link to the mod in the nexus, you shall get my cookie and a like!

Hey there. You are looking mighty fine today, have my virtual cookie!

compared to other mods it is tougher, and also ENB has in insane amount of mods that it is not capable with, at least in my experience.

Some form of ENB.

W.A.T.E.R

Climates of Tamriel.

Skyrim: Flora Overhaul. I use the summer edition. I like grass.

I use Opethfields ENB settings.

Edit:

ENB is not hard to install. Watch Gophers videos on how to install it if you need help. If you're going to continue insisting ENB is hard to install then perhaps you should sell your gaming rig and buy a console.

ENB is just a drag and drop very easy If you can't do that don't install mods at all because you could have load order issues and that is much harder to deal with than installing an ENB. I only know of 1 that is not compatible with other mods. I have installed about 6 different ENB's with 80+ mods before I found the right one and I haven't had a problem with compatibility at all.

There are so many mods out there, best place to start would be the top files on nexusmods for a bunch of graphics mods.

I might do a clean install of skyrim and install the ENB first, then everything else, but it only starts to CTD when i copy the d3d9 so i dno if its a compatibility thing

I dont accept that. Theres maybe 10-20 files to copy into your directory's, Then the ENB settings which can be used with the Nexus Mod Manager.

I blame your system for the issues your having rather than ENB itself.

CTD?

I haven't run into any issues yet. What ENB settings are you using.

Are you copying the d3d9 file from wrapper and not injector?

I'm really not sure what could be the problem.

Crash to Desktop!

im using RealVision ENB and yeah im using that from the wrapper, if i delete that file it works, but if i put it back it shows me RealVision ENB is installed but it doesnt show the start up screen, goes directly to menu and when i try to load, i dont get that object loading screen ( where it shows my level and a tip and an object in the middle ) and then it just goes back to my desktop!

Might be conflicting with another mod or something but it is more of a hassle to install than lets say a texture pack or the Morrowind Overhaul, that mod is a blessing and really easy to install

Also there is a mode called FALSKAAR  It might as well be dlc because it adds a land mass a third the size of skyrim and adds a complete story line to go with it.

Would having a mod manager conflict with using steam workshop?

Skoonjar already suggested it but run BOSS. it will sort out your load order.

I would suspect so. Steam Workshop isnt as good as Nexus Mod Manager.
