I am browsing Ebay for a new motherboard so i can go SLI and i came across this board (http://goo.gl/Yd0mMM) Looking at the retention arm and stuff it sorta looks burnt (in the first and second pics) what do you guys think? it just looks off to me. I don't know if this board comes like that new..

Yeah that looks like someone took a torch to it.  Why would you post the pic with a socket cover on?  ...hmmmm.  Oh there are more pics =/.

Normally you need a hell lot of temperature over a long period of time to make metal go blueish. The mobo seems in decent shape for a board that have been heated up so much.

there is zero chance that bluing happened by anything overheating on the motherboard. its probably a reflection or an intentional thing. The google tells me that mild steel blues at over 330 degrees Celsius, the fiberglass would be a pile of ash at 330. or at the very least the solder mask would be completely black.
