OS: Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit

CPU: core i7 4790k

GPU: zotac gtx 970 extreme amp edition

MOBO: Asus maximus 7 hero

RAM: corsair 16 gb

HDD: seagate 1tb

SSD:samsung evo 120gb

CPU COOLER: Corsair h100i

PSU: Corsair rm850

CASE:nzxt H440

 

My pc just shutdowns randomly with out any warning this happens while the pc is idealing or gaming i cannot pin point the problem. i did run memtest86 and there where no errors next i tested prime 95 my temps shot relly high up between high 90c to 100c with in a minute but when my pc is ideal they are around 40c to 50c when gaming or performing high intensive tasks they are around 60c to 70c.my voltages are all normal.help me guys

Probably your PSU is dying....

If your CPU is hitting 90 to 100C with an H100i while running Prime, that's a major issue by itself.

i build this pc recently and the psu is new

Then your CPU could be a problem.... The temperature isn't friendly.

Temperature issue, shouldn't be that high, AMD CPUs have lower max. temperature than Intel.

Is the cooler seated properly? Are the mounting screws all the way down and tight?

How much thermal paste did you apply? There should only be a thin layer.
