Isn't that even a bigger problem? If it's really hot outside it feels even worse(colder) when you jump into cold water.

Our water heater will take your skin off if you don't turn on some cold with the hot.

I take cold showers once in a while when i feel sad. It makes me think that my body is sadder than my emotions, which somehow makes me feel better. Anyways, you get used to it, at least you did not have to take a bath in a river for 3 nights

You can always heat up a large pot of water on the stove.  Use it for a sponge bath then dump it over yourself to rinse off.  You basically only need to get wet, lather up, then rinse off. 

 

I used to do that all the time when I lived off the grid.

I've been tempted to try one of these coils just to see how it works. although I know it totally works because of how hot the water gets inside a garden hose when you leave that in the sun
