5.25 to 3.5

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

I know I would be screwing the hard drive directly into the adapter

I'm asking if there was an adapter compatible with the tooless drive bays in the corsair

They should work no problem as long as the holes line up the the metal pins for the tool-less system:

I have a corsair 780t and was thinking about removing my hard drive cage so I can mount a pair of fans in the bottom of my case. I was looking for a 5.25 to 3.5 bracket but many of the reviews on the products I looked at claim that many of them don't support the tool less drive bays that corsair uses. Any suggestions?

you would not use a drive bay...

a 3.5 to 5.25" adapter will make you screw the hard drive directly into the adapter
you do not use tooless drive bays that come with your case
