Changing keycaps on my SteelSeries 6Gv2 Red Switch Edition

Hey guys, I wanted to share what I did with my SS 6Gv2 Red Switch keyboard. I changed the keycaps from the original keyboard to Zowie white keycaps.

Very cool. I might try that with my Rosewill. I was wanting to checkerboard my Siig Minitouch but finding replacement Alps style keycaps is next to impossible.

Neither. If I am not mistaken, a friend told me they are nylon material keycaps. These are the keycaps you find on the blue/pink versions of the Zowie Celeritas.

I have a RK-9000RE. Not sure what keycaps I will get. Honestly I think I might use the keycap money to buy something with mx blues or alps. The mx reds are just not cutting it for me after using the SIIG with its white alps.

mx blues is nice :D But after playing with keycaps, I realized keycaps also contribute to the overall feel and comfort of using a mechanical keyboard. If you wanna get keycaps then I say go for it :D
