Looking for a new wired mouse

Go to solution Solved by ZetZet,

I have been using ASUS products for years! Didn't know they had mice yet.

Flawed in what way? I like the more flat feel compared to the ridge on the Rival.

acceleration impossible to disable. look at zowie mice. they have a million shapes and all of them are good.

Hey everyone,

So im currently using a Logitech G700 wireless mouse, and I am very happy with it.
However, I am leaving for school, and plan on leaving my gaming rig at home since I will be living in a house with a bunch of animals to say the least.

I play casual games on my laptop (Guild Wars 2 and League of Legends) and I am looking for a wired mouse since I am unimpressed with my G700's recent battery life.

I don't care much for looks, a pretty simplistic, very minimal LED scheme is fine with me. I also don't mind much for the side buttons, as I used them for shortcuts when editing videos, rarely used for macros in games. What are some good mice that people use that have a reliable sensor and good tracking? Don't really care how much i'm spending, just nothing over 100$(usd)

Cheers,

Jack

Edit:

I had been looking at this one from Steelseries, has anyone used this? And what are your thoughts on this?

Also to note, i have above average sized hands, to put in perspective, I can palm a basketball quite well and just rest my hand on my mouse, no special grip or anything

This seems to be one of the most popular.

I had it before but returned it because it didn't fit my smaller hands very well.

Steelseries Rival, what is the difference of this and the Sensei?

sensei has a flawed sensor, rival has a perfect one.

Agree with zet zet (minus the deathadder)

dont have any experience with zowie

Will also add Asus ROG Sica

cheap, lightweight, asus's legendary quality control and build quality in a neat little package.

nah man. it's great. i have the deathadder 2013 but it's the same mouse with RGB. You are mistaken.

i said horrible quality control. Just cause you got one that wasnt broken doesnt mean he will have that luck too

EDIT: 2/10 customer reviews mention poor quality control as it has been broken within 3 months. 20% failure rate with retail product within 3 months is horrible!

Tell that my 10 year old Razer mouse that still works like on its first day.

I'm currently using the DeathAdder. Still the best wired gaming mouse IMO.

Im not doubting razer's quality, my roommate last year had razer everything (a bit of a fanboy eh?) but all of his peripherals worked like a charm and never had a problem. My whole thing is the look, just my opinion, but I don't doubt their performance.
