Building a gaming and editing PC

sebRR

As per standard procedure I shall insert a PC part picker link in search of opinions or recommendations!

I am going to be doing 1080p gaming in AAA titles and premiere pro and after effects work.

Yeah I think I'll get something like that. Either that one or a Phanteks one I've seen around.

I'd say it would be pointless to get the R9 390X as it's basically the same as a 290X tri toxic (8GB). You're paying more for a useless product. You don't need that expensive of an case even though they are good cases. An h440 would get the job done. I highly suggest this:

No need for a 390X, a 390 will do fine

You could get a 980ti from the same price it looks like, unless you prefer AMD or really want 8gb

Really?  but a 980ti is like $1100 AUD and 390x is $649 AUD, I'm not sure how that would work...

It must have put it in USD when I clicked on the link. :/ Sorry about that.

No probs, although if I went with a fx 8370/8350 and cut down on other parts I might be able to afford a 980ti...
