Freezing

Hi,

I have been having trouble with freezing and crashing on chrome/desktop and in games. When my PC freezes the CPU, GPU and ram utilization is always fairly low.

here are my specs:

Windows 8.1 pro

4gb ddr2

c2d E8400

gainward gt 610 2gb

 

Everything is at stock speeds and the temps are all low.

Any suggestions???

Could be a virus ^^ but it could also need a reboot every once in a while.

 

What kind of prebuilt is it?

Is your hdd slow? have you checked for viruses?

its a wd black 200gb (the boot drive) so no.

I just installed this windows copy so no viruses.

the utalisation of everything is low and it gets shut down every 2 hours or so.

it is a heavily modded hp dc 7900
