Hello, I am building a new computer with an I5-4690 (water cooled with 120mm aio) and a gtx 970. I was told that 8Go is enough, is it true ?

Kingston HyperX Fury 8 Go DDR3 1333 MHz CL9

If i later need more ram, can i buy the same kit and add it to my pc or do i need to buy a 16Go kit right now ?

Yes, 8GB is enough for now. But make sure to get one 8GB stick, it won't impact gaming performance in any way and you can just buy another 8GB to upgrade later on.

Why go water cooling without an overclocking CPU?

8GB is fine, but how much is 'regular' 1600MHz RAM?

And it is typically advised to get the same RAM kit when you upgrade, just to be sure it works. But I am running 2 different sets of RAM now too
