Yeahh if youre playing any of the witcher or GTA games without a gamepad youre doin it wrong.

I prefer gta v with m/k, just much easier to shoot in car and on foot..

Just sayyin, the game was originally made for the purpose of being played with a gamepad. But with the shooter type that GTA is, I can understand why someone would like m/k

Yeah, I do agree. I kinda forced the whole gta with m/k purely because of how easy it is to shoot in the car.

All those chase missions felt awkward with a controller trying to shoot out of a car, although I've always found those parts awkward even when I played on console.

I think the main thing that keeps me using m/k now is all the mods I have, I need quick access to my keypad and other random keys etc.

Otherwise I would probably go back to controller.

I played GTA5 with almost controller exclusively unless

 

1. Someone is challenging me (in whatever the form. ganking me in freeroam for example)

2. Being a passenger and need to shoot accurately

3. Alone in the car in Online and have to defend myself

Same here, and sometimes I use the controller in my left hand for movement and aimed with my right hand on the mouse, so I didnt have to put the controller down

Agree, although it doesn't really fit well with a keyboard, with a controller the movement feels heavy and bulky like the combat.

I think if the movement felt any slipper shall we say? then, combat would feel awful.

I love it. Just finished my second play through. Though I loved shadow of mordor as well so I guess that type of movement is more my style. I'm more intrigued by the story of a the game anyway.

I also use a 360 controller for these types of games.

I agree the game is overrated the character selection sucks...

I honestly never had an issue with it.  The game isn't a svelte action game like Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden so if you go into the game expecting it to be, you'll be disappointed that it's slower-paced and gameplay does take a backseat to story and world-building.
