I have been saving some of my paycheck for a few years now and have saved enough to finally build a gaming pc my budget is $2000 cdn dollars

I would like a great PC for gaming and demanding programs like Adobe Photoshop. i am a photographer and would like to be able to run photo editing programs easily.

Here is the parts I think would be a good idea but I am not totally sure about the motherboard or the power supply i already own monitors and peripherals and don't mind what windows version as i will be upgrading to windows 10 as soon as i build it.

I dont know if I will need better case fans to keep it cool or not.

nice build, you might want to get an aftermarket cpu cooler, as the stock intel one isnt very good. also with this slight bit of budget headroom an i7 4790k would make sense for content creation.

16GB of memory are so stupid, I would get a 250GB SSD instead Samsung 850 evo 250GB or crucial mx200 250GB. also those Fractal Design cases are pretty expensive, I'd go with a NZXT S340 instead, it looks good and is  cheap

ok thanks for the advise but I have a bad habit of never closing windows and always just minimize them for later and then keep them open for days at a time so will 8gb of ram be enough?
