If I had that kind of money, I'd funnel it into a PC.

Not into a machine I can get for $1000 at the used lot that gets me from A to B in the same amount of time, with cheaper insurance, better gas mileage, and can be driven on a dirt road.

Meh. So long as the radio works and the seat isn't a rock, I'm good.

I do like cars, but I like to think on the more practical side of things, especially living here in Minnesota.

its how it is here too

but thiers are sketchy cases

guy cutsyou  off and brakes

even though you hit

still his fault

but unless you got proof u fucked.

but you still will have to end up paying something because logic.

I seriously suggest getting a Dash Cam. You can get decent ones for $100-150, but the really good ones are $300+

http://www.amazon.com/BlackVue-Channel-DR650GW-2CH-Recorder-support/dp/B00MC4XL2G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1436069882&sr=8-1&keywords=BlackVue+DR650GW-2CH

Like this, it includes Front and rear cams, with an included backup battery pack, so that it can continue to record even if battery is cut off (say, for example, your electrics shut off because of a car accident).

I bought a somewhat well reviewed no-name brand cam from Amazon for ~$150, but it's operating temperature wasn't rated low enough for Canadian Winters. It lasted most of the Winter, but in the height of January, when we were looking at -25C to -30C temps, the unit would refuse to power on.

Still looking for a reliable replacement... I like the idea of dual-cams personally, since getting rear ended is one of the bigger risks.

Yeah that's pretty normal since it's mainly on the person who hits and where usually, at that point you try to grab a witness ASAP or dash cam it like Russia  :D

Yeah I first saw it on Mass Drop (Though the price on Amazon is often better). They even have a higher up model that is somehow better (didn't compare the specs). BlackVue also has some lower end models, but you'd really want to do a comparison to see if they still have all the good features.
