1866 RAM in plenty, 1600 would be fine too.

Swap the i7 for an i5 4690k and GPU to a 980ti if your only using it for work and gaming.

make the PSU seasonic or EVGA

For the love of god, don't get a Zalman case, they're so annoying and ugly

I highly recommend getting an H440 or a Fractal Design R5, also, don't get a 980 its not worth anymore, get an i5 4690k and get a 980 Ti just like what @rtpb5642

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

I'm hearing 5820 is the best chip for the money right now. 6 core = winner!  But not if it's only a gaming PC. It's for future proofing though for other appz and stuff. Video/audio editing.

Otherwise just get that I5 and the 980 Ti.

PSU is a bit weak but they are decent supposedly.

I'd rather have the EVGA 650 GOLD+ one with longer warranty.

1866 is solid. That's what I have.

I kinda like that Zalman case....H440.... nice too though but completely diff style.

Even if u go down to a 4690k and the cheapest Z97 motherboard? Here a 980 and 980ti are only 200$ apart and same for an i5 and i7

On that budget why would suggest X99?

Seasonic makes the best power supplies.

For case, think about Fractal define R4, or Corsair 350D.

1866Mhz i plenty

i7 is an overkill for gaming, get an i5 and use the money for better cooling

  • Hello, this is my plan of computer. I will be glad to receive fast help, because I'm ordering the computer on Monday from a trusted shop , here in Poland. Is 1866MHz enough? Is the RAM fit under the Cooler? PSU- : I'm worried if the wattage of the PSU is sufficient so is it gonna be enough or is it gonna be to little? Thanks.

What are you using the pc for ? If it is just for gaming then you don't need an i7 cpu.

Also what monitor are you going to be using ?

Do you plan to add a 2nd graphics card in the future ?

Get a Crucial or Samsung SSD. Kingstons aren't very good.

Get a SeaSonic PSU or EVGA G2 or GS series.

Get a i5-4690k and overclock it. The 4790k is not needed u less you are doing or plan on doing live streaming or YouTube.

Other then that good, I'd personally go with a WD Blue instead of the Seagate but that's personal preference.

Well for gaming an i5 4690K is perfect. If you are doing other things like video rendering and video editing or streaming then an i7 is better.

If you are just using a 1080p monitor then a GTX 970 would be good. The GTX 980 isn't really very good value.

Don't get the Kingston V300 SSD as it isn't very good. The Crucial BX100 or Samsung 850 EVO is a much better option.

A good quality 650W psu would be enough for GTX 970 SLI. Something like the EVGA G2/GS 650W or XFX XTR 650W.

When the prices are completely different somewhere else it's pretty hard to suggest stuff. $1000 980 Ti's.... rotfl....seriously.

Thanks for help.

But problem is, EVGA PSU is bit expensive and there is little in stock. Do you prefer other PSU ? Please. Thanks

And what about CASE? Zalman Z3 Plus isn't good?
