Can't find hard drive

Go to solution Solved by Haggis_,

Go to "disk management" in "computer management". May just be that you need to inizilise the disk.

Is it a new disk? if not, make sure that you have backup before you start to play around with it in disk management

I think the HDD is not formatted.

Follow these steps.

1. Go to control panel>System and Security>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management

2. Select the HDD top be formatted.

3. Select how much you want to partition the drive then start the disk formatting.

4. When finished check again your My Computer Window. You should see your HDD now.
