No screen

a friend of mine build his own pc i helped and it looks all good 

but on the motherboard (biostar TA970) there is no vga

now i think no problem ill just connect it to the graphic card (Powercolor HD7850 2gb gddr5 V2)

but it doest give a signal to my screen i tested the card in my own pc and it seems fine

but how does one instal windows 7 without a screen

or is there something wrong with the graphic card

 

i tryed making a unattended disc with vlite

but that didnt work

MB: biostar ta970

Graphic: Powercolor HD7850 2gb gddr5 V2

CPU: AMD FX 8320

HDD: Hitachi HGST Travelstar 7K750 750GB

RAM: Xorairs vengeance  2x4gb

PSU: Corsair CX600

well i dont have any audio connected but it seems silent i also tested the hdd in my own pc and seems to be fine

Why would he be using VGA? Tell him to get a DVI cable or something other than VGA. It could be a bad cable, too.

i tested multiple screens also hdmi all the fans spin no sound

a graphics card is supposed to workt without windows right?

Yes. And the PCI-E slot is most likely faulty.

hmm that could be the case i will test that

 

i put the graphic crard in another slot stil doesnt work

any other options

tested it with another graphic card also another pci slot still no screen could it just be the motherboard
