Headset vs Big Ears?

Go to solution Solved by Nivius,

those are small in general

also, if you have ears that are tilted "what people call monkey ears" more then the headset is "built for" it will hurt your ears as well.

there isnt really mutch you can do about it, there is prob not changeable or buyable ear muffs :P

next time you get a headset, go to a store and test a few first, then get a "reference point headset" of what you think is comfortable, then buy something like that

i have really standard size ears and i use the closed QPAD QH-90 headset (hyper X to the silly americans, same headset) and it fits me perfectly in every way.

also holy shit can somone make these smaller :I

So I currently got Sennheiser HD-201 and previously had Creative Fatal1ty Gamer Headset.

When I have them for like 30-60+ minutes they hurt my ear (more specifically my left hear).

Any work-around for this?

I am not sure if I have big ear(s) or what the problem is here..

When I was younger I was never harassed about my ears though only (rarely) my nose which is why this is especially strange to me.

I don't understand why it only hurts in my left ear.

I might go look in the mirror or my brother if he sees any difference with my ears.

whatever the case, get yourself a pair of QH-90 or QH-85 when you switch :)  Svensk kvalitet! (same headset just open/closed)

there really isnt much you can do other then that tbh.. or amputate your ears?

I am poor, so I might as well amputate my ears and save up for new ones..

Or perhaps make my ears smaller.

I think I have some knives lying around here..

Hey,

one thing that I just noticed is that; when I used the right headphone/muff thingy on my left year and left with right ear it feels much better.

I do not receive any pain from having it on now.

Idk why this matters but, it seems to have fixed it.

If that doesn't work, you could get some craft shop foam, and cut it in the shape of the ear pad, and stuff it under the pad in the back. That would angle the drivers, and give the backsides of your ears more room. Many also report (on other headphones) that mods similar to that can greatly increase the sound stage, which is really nice for gaming.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
