Game Suggestions (read description)

Recently I've felt a little lost in gaming. I really want to play something but I just look at my library and get no response from the games. I forced myself to play some but could never play for more than half an hour.

 

I need something with a story that isn't too long. Hopefully it can pull me out of this sort of depressing feeling.

 

I've really enjoyed games such as To the Moon, Phoenix Wright, Braid (didn't know there was a story to this until I finished it lol), Yesterday, The Inner World, and other similar games.

 

Really hope you guys can help me find something and thanks in advance.

Dust an Elysian Tail

I recommend it A LOT!

Great story, great gameplay, great voice acting, great soundtrack, great animation, great controlls, immersive.

When you have played the best you no longer like the rest. I sometimes have this problem.

 

I would suggest you try games besides the common genre like FPS ,fighting ,MMORPG

 

Try games like

The walking dead (by telltale games or any other games made by them)

The sims

South park the stick of truth

Fable the lost chapters

Even harry potter games can be a good experience i personally enjoyed the chamber of secrets very much

Meh, this franchise is just not my cup of tea, I see the game pointless, you can do the same stuff IRL aswell, but that's just me.

Right, by "not too long" i didnt want some elaborate rpg or visual novel that would be many hours, days, months. I played Valiant Hearts and loved it. I'll look at the rest when I get the chance, Thanks!

Freedom Planet.  It's like Sonic crossed with Sparkster.  There's a story there its amature and really not necessary, but the gameplay is amazing.

As for something more story driven.  Bastion and Transistor are both really good and are not too long.

 

Edit:  Cave Story is also a great game.

Oh yeah, forgot about Bastion, Never played it so I'll check it out

Also, I loved Cave Story. Played it a long time ago (it was the first game ever to give me the feels)
