You don't need software to build sites. It's way more fun doing it yourself

Squarespace is great if you have no HTML knowledge. If you want to learn to build one yourself from the ground up, check out Dreamweaver.

Do you have any experience in HTML/CSS?

 

if you do then notepad++ or Komodo Edit are good, but if you have no experience then get some and use either of those :PxD
