Hello everybody,

Current System Specs:

Cpu: FX 6300

CPU Cooler: Be Quiet Pure Rock

Mobo: MSI 970a-g46

RAM: 8gb (2x4) Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz

GPU: XFX R9 280 (2 way crossfire)

Storage: 128gb Sandisk Ultra Plus (SSD)

               1 TB WD Blue

PSU: Thermaltake 730w

Monitor: Asus 4K PB287Q

              Crappy Dell 20" Secondary Panel

Currently in most my games, i am unable to play at 4K - barely ever to do with frame rate issues, there is just tons of micro-stutter. A friend told me it is to do with my processor completely bottle-necking my cards and not being able to support both of them.

If i was to upgrade to an i7 4790k and Gigabyte z97P-D3, would it stop microstutter????

An i5-4460 is good enough for your problems.  If you want overclocking i5-4690k.  You don't really need the extra threads for gaming.

also, would the i5 4690k or the i7 4790k work with the Gigabyte z97P-D3 (it being slightly cheaper than other z97 boards)

i think the cards are fine (if thats what you mean Pool)

Those chips will work perfectly fine
