Return on Amazon Ripoff

Hello there, so recently my sister purchased. The perfume Amarige by Givenchy on amazon from a 3rd party seller. The day after she received it, after she had used it a little, the box fell apart. We noticed that the box was held together by cheap office tape. The perfume also didn't smell much like the one we had seen at Macy's. She decided to contact the seller. After a week the seller replied and told her to send it to them for investigation. We sent it back and paid for shipping, around 6-8$. We had paid 58$. Another week and a half passed by and they said that nothing really seemed wrong. My sister told them if there was any way she could return it. She had used around 1/10th of it. They told us another week later that they could only give us back around 25-30 dollars. We were surprised. I told my sister to just have them send it back to keep the perfume and at least have great use of it. In the end they only gave us back 28$ and kept the perfume. It's as if we lost around almost 40$ because of also shipping it back and we received a crappy box that fell apart and we never got to finish the perfume or get it back. Should I report this to Amazon, leave a bad review or what. We feel ripped off.

Report it to amazon and leave a bad review. I'm not 100% sure if amazon has the authority but they might be able to credit your account for what you lost, their support is the best.

Report it to amazon, leave a bad review to the seller, email the seller, wait for amazon to resolve your issue.

Yep, you contacted the seller and they are unable to provide a proper solution, so submit to amazon.
