Corsair AXI1200 PSU Problem

330213759@qq.com

My psu started to over heat and the fan wouldnt turn itself on. I finally installed corsair link and turned on fixed percentage for the power supply to make the fan spin but why doesnt the default profile of the psu work properly? So i got a RMA from corsair this week and the same thing happened, the fan still wouldnt spin unless corsair link is running in the background. When the psu over heats, it will automatically shut down my pc which is annoying, any solutions?

Question - why in the name of Gaben do you have a 1200W PSU?

It has a Eco or silent mode until a certain load but I don't know why it wouldn't turn on automatically without corsair link.

How much was it overheating?  The fan isn't supposed to spin up until it reaches a certain temp.
