more VRAm

Go to solution Solved by SkilledRebuilds,

does more VRAM help you to run more filters in games?

Not if you already have enough for the task..

MSAA will add some more to the vram requirements.

But the CORE grunt of the card, matters the most with enabling filters like MSAA.

You wouldn't use 8xMSAA on the 4GB AMD 370, the VRAM is there, the core grunt isn't.

Yes, Not by much though.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

More VRAM just lets you turn up more settings and have more mods an filters without hitting the limit.
