So, just to confirm (Because I have no idea about this topic), if I, let's say, plug 2 140mm fans into a fan splitter which only goes into one socket (Perfectly displayed by the picture, might I add), will the mobo just act the same?  As in, will it just (If it gets too hot), speed them up together like usual?

So, for instance:

I have a Sabertooth Z87 motherboard which detects if my components are getting too hot.  It speeds up the fans in order to cool them down, obviously and I'm wondering if I use a splitter to connect two fans to one port, it will do the exact same thing but speed them both up?

I hope I explained this well.

Thanks!

both fans will spin at the same speed unless you are using ultra high power fans you mobo should be fine the speed controls will work the same

So, what you're saying is that if it gets too hot, they will automatically spin up like the usually would of in the first place?

Yes. Both fans will get the same signal.
