no. everything is always manual with OC, and every OC is different.

you cannot "autoOC"

 

follow your thread.

get either MSI afterburner or EVGA precisionX to overclock your 980.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

i wanna oc my gtx 980 , but heres the thing , i dont wanna mess around the settings , is there a software where i click 'oc mode" and it overclocks it for me ? just like that simple

I wouldn't recommend using one of those. They aren't very stable, just look up tutorials on how to OC properly and do it manually. Much more satisfying AND more stable if done right.

:P doof you have to crash to know where your point is. turn down the clock a bit and rerun until it's stable

i can run about +170 stable with no overvoltage.

Not as simple as that. Different cards OC differently. Some overclock really well, allowing high clock speeds without much trouble. Then there are others that don't really do too well. Just experiment with it. tinker with it a bit. Then do some tests and play some games.
