I couldn't manage to sleep tonight, and I'm still not sleepy, what should I do today? Do lot of physical activity and try to get as tired as possible for tonight? Then since I'm going out tonight (not gonna drive obviously) should I drink?

 

Any tips?

Do physical activity but stay super hydrated.

Take duel release meletonin before bed every night. If you have a habit of staring at a screen before bed, your body doesnt produce much meletonin.

I can tire myself out physically all day but when I lay down my mind wakes up...keeping it bullshit free only 2 things that put me to sleep is ambien which I do get by prescription and busting a nut. I don't know how nutting makes my mine relax but it certainly shuts something down. If I dont take anything or do anything I usually go to sleep about every 40 hours for about 10 hours. I am in my 30's and cant do with out sleep....made it all through high school and the military on a couple hours a night and was fine...maybe that is what dicked me over now.

Actually I didn't use the pc for hours before going to bed, although this week I've been coming back home at 1-2AM almost everynight that probably didn't help.
