Help with Arma III

I recently got Arma 3 and it is HUGE. I'm mostly interested in Epoch, Wasteland, and Battle Royale. I've gotten the mods through WS Launcher and it seems to working pretty well. However, 99% of the games I join I get kicked from, I have no idea how to play, I get 30 fps on high and 30 fps on low. There are so many issues, can anyone help me out?

arma is notorious for being an absolute bitch to run, the best advice for performace is get a better computer..simple as that im afraid. 

As for getting booted im not sure, try and figure out if battleye is involved with the booting cause ive never been booted from a game.

Damn. I heard that game was super hard to run. Sounds like it is not properly optimized. Try lowering the settings.

The problem with the Arma series (DayZ / Epoch / any MP mission in general) is not that it's not very well optimised - as you will see if you have the time to check out singleplayer - but that it's so open to modding that it will allow the modders to just copy / Paste any code they find.

 

This results in very bad performance across the board in any MP-scenario, especially as complex as the full conversion mods like Epoch.

 

For example:

 

I have no problem rendering the game at 200% resolution on Ultra in Singleplayer, but I drop from >60 to <20 in King of the Hill...

The PC I game on which is my dad's is a i7-4700MQ and a GT 740m with 12 GB RAM

It's just a horribly optimized series of games.

 

Oh, and a suggestion. Get Breaking Point! It's an Arma III DayZ style mod and it's loads of fun.
