I work on small scale games, and I notice that when I apply textures to terrain my frame rate drops to 1-2 FPS. I checked usage and it turns out that I'm maxing out my GPU memory. I know that SLIing 2 cards does not double graphics memory. But I am just wondering if anybody thinks it would make a difference

thanks

So the only way to fix it is to get a better card with more memory

Yes or reduce your settings to lower the vram usuage.
