Headphones!

so my younger brother decided he loves my headphones and the work perfectly on his little android stick so he took them. Good news is, im single and ready to mingle with a sweet headset. 

 

I just picked up $300 worth of stereo equipment off the side of the road so these wont be a constant use situation. They do however need to be lightweigh/comfortable. i have the XB500's as my headphones and i feel like those spoiled me so much. they are a dream to wear. sound quality decent. i use skype everyday. i might use them occasionally to listen to  music so more bass is always better im open to all suggestions. id like to stay around or below $90

no worries :D ive heard good things about the siberias! back when i was building i was looking at the Logitech G930. i like the theme and the fact that theyre wireless.

Those are also a great choice, but you wouldn't be able to use all the audio equipment that you have, since it's a USB headset. I personally would stay away from wireless, since it tends to interfer with other devices, but other people seem to have no problems

oh i have no plans of using these headphones on the equipment i found. it was mostly a buncha speakers and 4 receivers. these headphones will go straight to my computer.

Ok then. If you don't have a dedicated soundcard I highly recommend going with a USB headset like the G930's, the new G430's or a pair of SteelSeries Siberia USB

I'd just say go audiotechnica m50's and a mod mic or zalman clip on.

it will be better than almost every headset out, and run right around $100.

while I love my M50's they can be a bit 'clampy' over time especially if you don't bend the spring steel backwards a bit

 

I've seen the akg 240's for as low as 60-80 new a comfortable design that sits more on your head with less clamp. also waaay better sound than a sony xb headphone

I tried some bose ae1 I believe. they were $150 but I definitely liked the feel. they were light weight. unnoticeable and they sounded all around clear and crisp. the bass wasn't head shaking but the sound quality makes up for it

ok sorry to bring this back up, what do you guys think of the new Sony XB800?

newegg is having a sale where I get $15 off when I use google wallet so I want to act soon. should I grab the logitech g930s or get the sonys? I couldnt find akgs on newegg. what are the best headphones from audiotechnica?
