Electronics beginner, advise?

I am currently reading electronics all in one for dummies but is there anything else?

I was thinking arduino or maybe try from scratch but what would you recommend?

Get an "all-in-on" kit with the PCB and all the parts you need and solder it together. Or you can get a socket board (not sure hiw they called in english) for solder-free mounting.

You also need at least a multimeter (you find them down to 20$).

This is the way to start with hardware. You can also start with software and get an arduino ore something like this, but in my opinnion HW is more fun to play with.

You should watch the EEVblog on youtube, Dave has some pretty good stuff there.

Arduino may be easier, but you're not actually building something, go build your own flashing led with a 555, that's like the "hello world" of electronics.

Well I've built a wish list on Amazon for the tools it's like £25 but idk where I can get the pcb stuff from.

At least it will be a cheap fun hobby
