2 routers

Hi, in my house i have two outlets to the house's phone line. and I wanted to know what would happen if i attach a router on one and the isp modem on the other.

Why does the title say 2 routers if you have a modem and a router? Is the modem a wireless modem/router?

 

It depends on how you hook up the power line to the router and your devices and if you have auto DHCP configuration. Your best bet is to hook the modem to the router's wan port and then devices to the router's LAN port or wireless.
