Looking for something similar to a k65 rgb, except without the corsair price tag. Preferably mechanical however switch brand (cherry) isn't necessarily a big deal to me.

Perhaps from Cooler Master, though if you don't mind Kailh switches (I would prefer you not get them for moral reasons as they are knockoffs) you can find cheap stuff everywhere. What I would suggest first is finding a used mechanical keyboard that suits your needs first as there usually isn't a lot to have go wrong with them.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

so your looking for a 10-keyless mechanical keyboard then?

the razer tournament RGB was release a couple months ago

or you could get a CM quickfire rapid-i if RGB isnt that big of deal to you

there aren't many 10-keyless RGB keybords out there.

Look for mechanical tenkeyless keyboards. Ducky does a lot of them in different colours with Cherry MX green, blue, black, brown, red and sometimes clear switches.

I don't want to pay for a brand name

so you don't want a razer, corsair, ducky, cooler master, steel series, you do realize anything that is not a random bargin bin company you find on ebay or neweggs bargain section you just alienated, and the corsair k65 nor rgb is going to satisfy your needs, and give you a durable product, I say such as i am typing on it as i message you

Its a Championship not a Belt!

Rosewill have both cherry and Khail switches that are fairly nice for budget mech keyboards. However judging based on your input and attitude I think OP should do some more research before purchasing since you do seem to be somewhat misguided regarding build quality, brand name and price.

No but i think he means that the k65 is overpriced for what it gives to the user. And i'd have to agree. Get a Quickfire TK or a rapid-i.

No my comment is is that 1/4 of the price of the k65 rgb is simply because it has a corsair logo on it
