I am looking to buy a new desktop after working on a laptop for a long time. I also want to play the latest games that are coming out like fallout 4 which I am very excited about. Basically i want a computer with a huge amount of processing power, a graphic card which can handle all the newest games and i can play them on high graphics.

I would just like some help on how to go about this in the best way and i have a budget of £1000

This is the wrong place to ask because everybody here is going to ask you to build your own. If you want to go prebuilt then I would recommend Utopia Computers UK, or PC Specialist, or overclockers UK

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Does it have to be pre-built? For the things you're going to be asking of your PC, a pre-built will carry a hefty premium over building it yourself.

Is this PC just for gaming? Or are you working on it? If so, what kind of work?

Is the £1000 just for the tower or does that include peripherals and a monitor?

I will be using my Computer for CAD software and music production which will be used in my freetime along with gaming.

the Money is just for the tower so is the best option for my is to get my computer built? i want high end processing power, grahics cards and sound systems.

You will always get better value building something yourself then getting a prebuilt or getting someone else to build it for you, unless you're buying super low-end or a laptop.

You will be able to afford better components if you build it yourself.

Sig under construction.

I'm not sure of the requirements for drawing, but the computation and simulation involved will be quite CPU heavy (depending on the CAD software). An i7-4790K would be a good shout here. You don't have to pair Haswell chips with a super high end Z97 board to get a decent overclock, so a well priced board like the MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition will do the job as well. And finally, for good gaming performance, a GTX 970. I would use a GTX 970 at 1080p or 1440p (my preference). However, if you want to go into the realms of 1440p Ultrawide or 4K resolution, you're going to have to beef up the hardware. Something like a GTX 980 Ti (or two) will be necessary for smooth gameplay at 4K.

Not so sure on the sound system, I'd go ask in the audio sub-forum for advice.
