Hey all,

I was wondering does the XB270HU's power led change color to indicate when G-Sync is working like the Asus ROG Swift does? Also after enabling G-Sync in the Nvidia control panel do I then I have to turn V-Sync off under the same panel? As I see to option to enable G-Sync under V-Sync like in previous versions of the software. Any help would appreciated.

It doesn't indicate whether gsync is on or off. Nvidia recently added the option for users to either have vsync on to cap frames off at the upper limit to prevent tearing or keep vsync off to let frames go higher. Leaving it on will cap frame rates at 144 for that specific monitor but may introduce input lag. Leaving it off, frame rates can exceed 144 but may introduce screen tearing because the monitor will refresh at a different rate than what the graphics card is rendering because it cannot refresh any faster.
