I'll try the most obvious solution: Try installing it in compatibility mode?

Did that before creating thread. Probably shoulda mentioned

Thanks. I found out that the problem was that the Logitech site kept on giving me the x86 download even though I click x64 :/

OP probably has 8.xx which is the wrong version......8.xx is for keyboards and mouse.

10.xx is for joysticks and racing wheels. 

Not sure for 5.xx support for 10.
