500 gaming pc build

Hi everybody, I'm looking to build a $500 gaming pc that can run Mortal Kombat X. Considering the price of the OS, keyboard, and the monitor, I had to bump the price down a bit. Can anyone recommend a pc build for me?

That's a pretty tall order. OS and peripherals are probably gonna run you about $250 bucks unless you pirate your OS. That doesn't leave you a lot of room for the rest of your PC. You might have to increase the budget a little bit.

As an alternative to purchasing Windows 8 you can sign up for the Windows 10 Insider program. Using the Preview version is pretty painless and in about a month you'll get a full upgrade to the release version with a license to boot.

I believe the budget for the PC itself is $500. He said he bumped the budget to include OS, peripherals, and a monitor.

Athlon X4 860K + the best GPU you can find should be able to run MK cause that game probably uses less CPU than GPU.

Peripherals don't cost 220 bucks...

A monitor, keyboard, mouse, and OS will cost you about that much. Unless you don't buy an actual retail copy of Windows.

There are sites like g2a where you can buy an os key and some anti viruses. As for the mouse + keyboard etc. thats all up to you. I dont think youll need anything too game centered. So like get like a combo from your nearest retail store for like ... 30 dollars? Anyways, if its for gaming I say raise the price cap a bit more. If its for school/ work needs try and aim for a i5. Also you can try and sticck with a 750ti. But thats just me.
