Alright guys, I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a R9 280. I want a 970, and I'm looking to spend around $350. I really wanted the Gigabyte G1, because of the backplate and it's great OC potential, but it's a more than I'd like to spend. I mean I will, if I can save that much, but I can't save money. So what one would you suggest, preferably with a backplate.

I should mention I won't have the money until July 29th.

I like the ASUS Strix 970 because it uses less power and the fans don't need to turn on unless the card is under heavy load.

Edit: I also really love how it looks.

MSI or gigabyte, MSI for quiet (much quieter the strix) and Gigabyte for OC.

the MSI OC almost as well as the gigabyte, but the gigabyte is marginally better
