okay few weeks ago, my FPS did not go below 40 FPS (When driving).. But now i'm getting 30 FPS exactly 30 FPS...

Sometime it goes back to 50-60 FPS, and drops to 30 FPS.....

My Specs:

I3 4150

MSI R9 280X Core Clock (1140)

8 GB of RAM

Settings:

But keep in mind before i was getting a lot better FPS.

Seems like developers can't make a good game for PC..

I have a AMD Beta Driver (Thank god it's beta, so when it's fully released gta v might run better)

need more specifics, in city? in outskirts? in city you will get better FPS than the outskirts

Edit : you do NOT need Msaa 4x, for one even i am using Msaa 2x with a 78-oi

Edit 2 : Turn Post FX to Medium

I have the exact same graphics card, amount of ram and a slighty beefier cpu, and im getting the same issue. I think it may be drivers, as it happens on both the beta driver and old ones. I also get terrible artefacts... (not heat related, my gpu runs at 70c). I think we should just wait for optimisation.

Turn Vsync off, removes the FPS drop to 30fps, I know that you may have had this setting enabled days ago and had better performance with it on, but give it a try now.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

In city, when i get out of my apartment.

And yes i need MSAA at 4X, if it's 2X i get Graphics problems

Turn Vsync off :( :( :(

Screen tearing happens every minute.

Turn Vsync off :( :( :(

Screen tearing happens every minute.

Also removes the instant drop to 30fps.

Pretty sure though, with reduced settings you could keep your minimums above 45fps so it won't dip down to 30fps with Vsync on.

Had GPU Monitoring in the background?

To check for limiting/throttling? - I dont think its the case, I think its more of a driver issue.

if it was working 2 days ago and not working now, then its not rockstar's fault, because they didn't do nothing to your game. you should find something else to blame.

idk, i just know 2 days ago everything was good. Now, everything sucks.

Maybe i need to reinstall Driver (It's beta)

Just in case of swapped driver corruption, use DDU (DisplayDriverUninstaller) - It removes the junk traces left behind between driver installs.
